Hesheng Low-Temperature Evaporator Production and Delivery by Baihuipu
Hesheng required a series of low-temperature vacuum evaporators to concentrate high-COD industrial wastewater while minimizing energy consumption. Baihuipu designed, fabricated, and delivered the evaporator units complete with heat exchangers, circulation pumps, and control panels from our production base.
Why Low-Temperature Evaporation Works for Hesheng
Low-temperature evaporators operate under vacuum, allowing water to boil at 35–45 °C instead of 100 °C.
This reduces scaling risk on heat-transfer surfaces and protects heat-sensitive organics in complex industrial effluents.
The condensate can be reused as process water, while the concentrate becomes a smaller-volume waste stream.

Equipment Design and Fabrication
Baihuipu sized the evaporators based on Hesheng's daily wastewater volume and contaminant profile. For the reuse angle specifically, Phenols, Ammonia and Cyanide goes further than we can here.
The heat exchanger, separation vessel, and circulation loop were fabricated from corrosion-resistant stainless steel.

Insulation, cladding, and safety interlocks were installed according to our internal assembly standard.
Each unit underwent pressure testing, leak testing, and a dry run at our factory before dispatch.
The delivery was staged so that Hesheng could receive and install units in the correct process sequence.

Packing included vibration protection and moisture barriers for long-distance road transport.
Removal Rates Across Our Installed Base
Across 42 commissioned plants where we hold complete COD records, influent COD ranged from 200 to 172,000 mg/L and treated effluent from 50 to 5,000 mg/L. Average removal across that set is 87.1% — not a marketing figure, but the measured mean.
That average is worth pausing on. It sits well below the 95%-plus numbers most suppliers quote, because the set includes genuinely difficult streams. On some electroplating and municipal duties the installed configuration only reaches about half the influent COD, and saying that up front is more use to you than a number the plant will never hold.
| Metric | Measured value |

| Average treated COD | 264 mg/L |
| Average COD removal | 87.1% |
| Wastewater types covered | 30+ |
| Delivery period on record | 2021–2022 |
On-Site Commissioning Support
Baihuipu engineers provided start-up assistance, operator training, and commissioning checklists.

Key parameters such as vacuum level, heating temperature, and circulation flow were optimized during the first week. Plants dealing with comparable loads face many of the same trade-offs covered in Emulsions, Sulphide and Phenols.
The system achieved stable operation and the target concentration ratio within the agreed acceptance period. Where several streams need joint treatment, Polyolefin Production Wastewater Treatment system is the more detailed reference.
Operational Results
Hesheng reported a significant reduction in off-site disposal costs after the evaporators entered service.

Reclaimed condensate was reused in the production process, lowering overall freshwater intake.
Baihuipu's low-temperature evaporator technology proved suitable for batch and continuous industrial wastewater streams.
Where This Fits in the Wider Plant
Much of this mirrors the situation set out in Ethylene Cracker Effluent Treatment system. Most facilities do not run a single clean stream, and a shared equalisation and biological stage is usually the economical answer once the streams are chemically compatible.
Why Choose Baihuipu as Your Manufacturer
Choosing a manufacturer here comes down to one question: who is still accountable once the commissioning team flies home. Our answer is that we build and programme our own equipment, then stand behind it for the life of the plant.
In-House Fabrication
Our Guangdong works produces everything from standard modular units to fully bespoke lines. Building in-house keeps cost, schedule and quality under our own control rather than a subcontractor's goodwill.
Two Decades of Field Data
Food and beverage, chemicals, electroplating, textile dyeing, mining, municipal work — we have commissioned across all of them. The useful part is not the project count, it is having seen how plants fail in year seven and designing those failures out.
Certification and Export Practice
CE marking is standard and we work to ISO 9001 procedures. Where a project calls for specific material grades, pressure vessel certification or ATEX-rated equipment, we build to that standard and ship the full documentation pack.
Complete System Responsibility
One supplier, one process guarantee. We take the plant from preliminary screening through to membrane separation, evaporation and brine management, with process, mechanical, electrical and controls engineering handled internally.
After the Handover
Spares for everything we install are held in stock. Remote telemetry is available on most systems, and our service engineers commission, train your operators and turn out for emergencies.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do you handle sludge from this process?
Sludge handling is where most budgets quietly blow out. We size dewatering against realistic solids production, and we usually recommend a filter press for this duty. The disposal route — landfill, incineration, or a licensed contractor — should be confirmed before commissioning.
Can you work with our existing equipment?
Often yes. We regularly integrate into existing civil structures where the concrete is sound, replacing internals and controls rather than starting over. We will tell you honestly when legacy kit is beyond economic repair.
What spare parts should we hold on site?
Critical spares are pumps, dosing valves, instrumentation sensors and any specialty media. We ship a recommended spares kit with the plant and hold stock for everything we supply, so lead times on replacements stay short.
