Leakage of MVR evaporators may occur at weak points such as welding of equipment and pipelines, flanges, sealing fillers, compensators, etc. The reasons for leakage may include cracking caused by thermal expansion and contraction, stress impact cracking after pipeline corrosion and softening, seal wear, pipeline rupture, or equipment aging.
