      Basic principles of first and third effect evaporators

      The triple effect evaporator is an efficient separation device that uses a multi-stage evaporation concentration method to gradually separate impurities from the solution, thereby obtaining high-purity products. It operates in series with three evaporators, each of which uses the secondary steam from the previous effect as heating steam, significantly reducing the amount of steam used and improving thermal energy utilization efficiency.

    2. Control method for heating steam

      1. Temperature control

      PLC self-test system: The three effect evaporator system usually uses a PLC control system for overall control. Through the detection system of temperature, pressure, and processing capacity, the PLC system can monitor the temperature of each evaporator and automatically adjust the supply of heating steam according to the preset temperature range to maintain the stability of the evaporation process.

      PID controller: In temperature control, PID controller is a commonly used control method. The PID controller can calculate the input signal (such as evaporator temperature) and quickly adjust the output signal (such as valve opening for heating steam) to achieve precise temperature control. The PID controller includes three control parts: proportional, integral, and derivative, which can adjust the control quantity by integrating the current temperature deviation, cumulative deviation, and predicted future deviation.

      2. Pressure control

      Steam automatic valve: By controlling the opening of the steam automatic valve, the amount of steam entering the evaporator heating chamber can be adjusted, thereby controlling the pressure and temperature of the evaporator chamber. When the pressure inside the evaporator increases, the steam automatic valve will automatically reduce its opening and decrease the steam supply; On the contrary, increase the opening and increase the steam supply.

      Pressure sensors: Install pressure sensors in the heating and separation chambers of each evaporator to monitor pressure changes in real-time and transmit signals to the PLC control system. The PLC system adjusts the opening of the steam automatic valve based on the signal from the pressure sensor to maintain stable pressure in the evaporator chamber.

      3. Traffic Control

      Steam flow meter: Install a steam flow meter on the steam pipeline to monitor real-time changes in steam flow rate. By adjusting the set value of the steam flow meter or controlling the opening of the valve, the steam flow entering the evaporator can be controlled, thereby achieving precise control of the heating steam.
