Gotion Nanjing Phase VI full Wastewater Treatment Delivery
Gotion expanded its Nanjing manufacturing base with a Phase VI complex that generates a diverse mix of production wastewater. Baihuipu was selected to deliver the thorough wastewater treatment equipment, including equalization, heavy-metal removal, biological treatment, and tertiary polishing units.
Project Scope and Flowsheet
The treatment train handles rinse water from electrode production, floor washings, cooling blowdown, and laboratory effluent.
Equalization and pH adjustment precede sulfide precipitation, coagulation, and flocculation for heavy-metal removal.
Aerobic biological treatment and sand-carbon filtration polish the effluent before discharge or reuse.

Equipment Delivered
Baihuipu supplied equalization tanks, reaction tanks, clarifiers, biological reactors, MBR modules, and sludge dewatering equipment.
Chemical dosing skids for acid, caustic, coagulant, and flocculant were factory-wired and tested.

Instrumentation and control panels were configured for remote monitoring and alarm reporting.
Equipment was delivered in phases to match the civil construction schedule and avoid congestion on site. The same selection criteria reappear in Vaccine and Biologics Manufacturing Wastewater, which is worth opening alongside this one.
Each shipment included packing lists, lifting plans, and installation orientation marks.

Baihuipu kept a resident engineer on site during mechanical installation and pipeline connection. We have written about the downstream implications separately in soy sauce and condiment brewing wastewater.
What This Looks Like in Practice
One reference point: a 10 m³/day installation we delivered in Fuyang, Anhui (2022) was treating feed at roughly 17,938 mg/L COD and holding discharge near 150 mg/L, about 99.2% removal. The train was Fenton + UASB anaerobic + denitrification + contact oxidation + MBR.
| Location | Year | Flow | Feed COD | Treated COD | Removal |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Fuyang, Anhui | 2022 | 10 m³/d | 17,938 mg/L | 150 mg/L | 99.2% |
Figures are site-measured values from commissioned plants, not modelled estimates.
Commissioning and Training
Commissioning began with individual unit water-fill tests and progressed to integrated process operation.

Operators were trained on chemical preparation, sludge handling, membrane cleaning, and troubleshooting.
Start-up data confirmed effluent quality within the local discharge limits.
Results
The system achieved design flow and pollutant removal targets within the first month of operation.

Gotion noted Baihuipu's responsiveness during installation and the clarity of the operating manuals.
The Nanjing Phase VI project is now a key reference for new Gotion expansions in China.
Integrated Treatment Strategies
The same selection criteria reappear in Microalgae Cultivation effluent, which is worth opening alongside this one. Most facilities do not run a single clean stream, and a shared equalisation and biological stage is usually the economical answer once the streams are chemically compatible.
Why Choose Baihuipu as Your Manufacturer
Choosing a manufacturer here comes down to one question: who is still accountable once the commissioning team flies home. Our answer is that we build and programme our own equipment, then stand behind it for the life of the plant.
In-House Fabrication
Our Guangdong works produces everything from standard modular units to fully bespoke lines. Building in-house keeps cost, schedule and quality under our own control rather than a subcontractor's goodwill.
Two Decades of Field Data
Food and beverage, chemicals, electroplating, textile dyeing, mining, municipal work — we have commissioned across all of them. The useful part is not the project count, it is having seen how plants fail in year seven and designing those failures out.
Complete Units and Turnkey Plants
Whether you need a single package unit or a turnkey installation with civil works, we deliver the entire treatment scheme. Our engineering team covers process, mechanical, electrical and automation so one party owns the outcome.
Spare Parts and After-Sales Support
We carry membranes, pumps, blowers, diffusers and instruments for every system we supply. Remote support through the PLC is standard on most builds, and on-site service covers commissioning, training and urgent callouts.

Frequently Asked Questions
What spare parts should we hold on site?
Critical spares are pumps, dosing valves, instrumentation sensors and any specialty media. We ship a recommended spares kit with the plant and hold stock for everything we supply, so lead times on replacements stay short.
What information do you need to quote?
Water analysis for your worst-case stream, peak and average flows, discharge limits, available footprint and utilities. If you do not have a full analysis yet, we can start from a partial one and flag the gaps.
How much operator attention does the system need day to day?
Automatic control handles dosing, backwash and level control. Realistically your team spends time on chemical top-up, sample testing and sludge handling — maybe one to two hours per shift on battery manufacturing complete duty, less if you opt for remote monitoring.
