Low-temperature secondary steam generated during evaporation is compressed and heated up via variable-frequency compressors before circulating back into the heat exchanger as heating source. Only minimal startup auxiliary steam is required; no live external steam is needed during regular operation, cutting energy consumption down to merely 20%–30% of conventional multi-effect evaporators.
