Baihuipu Launches Containerized MVR Evaporator Series
Baihuipu has released a containerized MVR evaporator series for high-salinity industrial wastewater. The first units left the Guangdong factory this month for chemical and electroplating clients, in response to demand for shorter installation schedules and lower steam consumption. Each skid is pre-assembled, pre-wired and pressure-tested before shipping, which cuts on-site installation time from weeks to days. The series covers 5 to 20 t/d of evaporation duty and is aimed at plants running zero liquid discharge projects where brine crystallization is the final step.

Key Features and Benefits
One Container, One Duty
The complete train — feed preheater, evaporator body, vapour compressor, condenser and control panel — sits inside a standard 40-foot container footprint. On a recent delivery to an electroplating plant in southern China, the unit was offloaded in the morning and connected to feed and power lines the same afternoon. Where several streams need joint treatment, Soft Drink Plant Effluent system is the more detailed reference. We set out the wider process route in zero liquid discharge.
Because welding, piping and cable pulls happen in the factory instead of on a busy production site, quality checks are easier to hold. Every weld seam is inspected before the container doors close, and the PLC is loaded with the client process parameters before dispatch. The process logic sits close to what is described in mvr evaporator systems for high-salinity industrial wastewater, particularly on the pretreatment side.

Lower Running Cost Through Vapour Recompression
Mechanical vapour recompression reuses the evaporated water vapour as the heating source, so steam consumption drops to a fraction of a single-effect evaporator. For a 10 t/d unit, running cost is dominated by electricity for the compressor rather than boiler steam, which matters most for plants without a steam supply on site. The same selection criteria reappear in Shrimp Processing Effluent, which is worth opening alongside this one.

Clients replacing older multi-effect units have reported evaporation energy costs falling by more than half, mainly because no continuous steam supply has to be purchased.

Built for Concentrated, Difficult Brines
The series handles feed streams with high TDS, hardness and organics — the streams that usually scale and foul evaporators. Anti-scaling dosing points, large-diameter heat exchange channels and an accessible tube bundle keep cleaning intervals predictable.
Applications include landfill leachate concentrate, electroplating rinse water, chemical mother liquors and RO reject from high-recovery treatment trains.

Technical Specifications
The table below compares the three standard models. Custom duties outside this range are engineered to order from the same platform.
| Model | Evaporation Capacity | Compressor Power | Footprint | Typical Feed TDS |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| BHP-MVR-5 | 5 t/d | approx. 45 kW | 40 ft container | up to 150,000 mg/L |
| BHP-MVR-10 | 10 t/d | approx. 90 kW | 40 ft container + extension | up to 200,000 mg/L |
| BHP-MVR-20 | 20 t/d | approx. 180 kW | two 40 ft containers | up to 250,000 mg/L |
Why Choose Baihuipu as Your Manufacturer
Picking a supplier for this kind of plant is mostly about who carries the risk when something goes wrong. We have built this equipment for more than twenty years, and we are the ones who fabricated it, programmed the controls and will still answer the phone three years from now.
Manufacturing Base in Guangdong
Owned production lines mean we control tolerances, materials and delivery. Standard modular units and bespoke skids are both built by our own people, so schedule commitments are ours to keep.
Experience Built the Hard Way
Since the early 2000s we have commissioned plants for food and beverage processors, chemical works, electroplaters, textile mills, mines and municipalities. The lessons that stick are scaling, fouling and sludge handling — those inform every design we issue.
We Engineer the Whole Train
Screening, equalisation, biological or chemical treatment, membranes, evaporation, brine handling — the complete line comes from one organisation. Process design, mechanical, electrical and PLC programming sit under the same roof, so there is no gap for finger-pointing at handover.
After the Handover
Spares for everything we install are held in stock. Remote telemetry is available on most systems, and our service engineers commission, train your operators and turn out for emergencies.

Customer FAQs
How long does delivery of a containerized MVR evaporator take?
Standard 5 to 10 t/d units ship in about 8 to 12 weeks after the process basis is confirmed. The containerized build shortens site work further: most installations are mechanically complete within 3 to 5 days of arrival.
Can the unit run without a steam boiler on site?
Yes. Mechanical vapour recompression is electrically driven, so only a power supply and a small amount of start-up steam or electric preheating are needed. This is one of the main reasons plants choose the containerized series.
What maintenance does the MVR evaporator need?
Routine work is compressor oil service, dosing checks and periodic chemical cleaning of the heat exchanger. Baihuipu supplies a recommended spares kit with every unit and holds stock for compressors, pumps and instruments.
Does Baihuipu support overseas installation?
We ship worldwide and support commissioning either remotely or with engineers on site. Recent overseas deliveries include the USA, Indonesia, India, Russia and Vietnam. The operating detail behind this sits in RO brine concentration.
